Other important information (PhD in Mathematics)
- Even if you have completed the minimum number of courses required, you are expected to enrol in one graduate-level course each term.
- Doctorate students are required to attend weekly mathematics or statistics seminars given by graduate students.
- Teaching at the Université de Montréal is done in French. Considerable support is available for students who lack the requisite fluency in French early in the program to make our courses accessible to them. The student association may also be able to help you get established.
