Asymptotic behavior of radially symmetric solutions for the Burgers equation in several space dimensions

We present recent results on large-time behaviour of the radially symmetric solution for the Burgers equation on the exterior of a ball in multi-dimensional space, where boundary data at the far field are prescribed. In this talk, we prove that for radially symmetric solution to the Burgers equation on multi-dimensional space, the asymptotic states are classified into four cases. The proof is given by a standard L2 energy method.
